Got through round 1!
About this creation

"Classic Spacetle"
A link to Mr. Tea's (hee hee) entry is supplied.
It is somewhere around "HERE".
I'd like to take this opportunity to ramble on for a few minutes, but I'm sure you've had a long and trying day, so you can skip to the pictures if you want.
I'm really glad I signed up for this gong-show, and I'd like to thank Chris for putting up with us all. Thanks to you, I've built things that I never would have dreamed of, and pieces that would have sat and collected dust have found their way onto the display shelf.
WARNING!
cliches ahead
And now for some back-story. We find ourselves on the moon of Zeta V, a small rock on the edge of the galactic kingdom. A raiding party of space-goblins has come across a small, space-peasant-run Astro-Turf farm and have decided to have some fun melting the respective space-peasants. Tom-foolery of this sort simply cannot be tolerated in the kingdom, and the local system-baron sends out a star-knight and a space-wizard to deal with the problem.

Freep the Blue dishes out some hurt....

...as Sir Zok zooms in on the Lance-o-Speeder 5000.

That's gotta hurt. (my favorite part of the whole diorama, right here)

I'm sorry, was that your air-lock?

And your buggy too? Well this just isn't your day I guess...

An goblin battle-buggy charges into the fray.

A couple shots of the Lance-o-Speeder 5000.

Front.

Right.

Back. With 3 rocket engines, this baby gets almost 70 gronk-power.

The Plasma-Pault 2780...

...and the Electro-Lance.

The royal flag waves in the thin Carbon Monoxide atmosphere. And if you're wondering about the sword, he's gotta put it somewhere, hasn't he?

Freep the Blue is one of my favorite minifigures.

The Bionic Troll.

Two half and fully liquefied space-peasants.

The space goblins and their battle-buggy. I tried to keep mostly with the Classic Space bits on this one, what with the little red wheels and all.

The moonscape minus all the death and destruction.

A patch of Syntho-Dirt with some Astro-Turf sprouts and an abandoned Astro-Plough.

The moon pod. Now I know this isn't very Castle-y but...

HA! I used a castle piece. I actually considered doing battlements of some sorts, but then I realized it's a farm run by peasants. They don't have battlements. In the end it turned out a little more like Classic SPACEtle.

FOR THE KING!
(You're welcome Chris)

The first Classic Spactle (how DO you pronounce that?) entry I've seen that really gets the classic space elements into the castle mix. Love Freep the blue, the plasma-pault and the astro turf farm elements and the melted space peasants are pure gold. Good luck and thanks for the comment! |

Not a bad little entry there! (psst, some of your captions don't match the pic they're with... check on that) Oh, and do your self a favor, add the link to Lemon's home page. That way if the judges "happen" by before he posts, they won't get... miffed. He may post when you're not around and then the judges see it and you get DQ'd and.. yeah, big hassle. Other than that, solid entry and good luck! ~ Chris.
Yeah, I was just thinking that. |

Hahaha thats great that your grandmother commented. My grandmother doesnt even have a computer. Nice job, by the way. If you win, and I win, we will face each other next round. Otherwise, you'll be against shannon, which is more likely. |
