CVN 765 USS. IWO JIMA VR. II
Here she is as promised, a version 2 of the USS. Iwo Jima. She has been refitted into a Gunstar class battlecarrier, a new wave of vessels in the United Earth Federation Navy. Not much has been changed except she is bigger and more greebled than her previous Nimitz class. The stardrive engines have also been redesigned for faster space travel.

Quoting Marc Runde This one is really nice. I like how the front and rear section are divided into two parts, just like if it could be extended by adding another module. Hey that reduces building costs, time and even exchangeable multi purpose modules are possible. I guess my thoughts are going too far. Great job, keep on the amazing work!
I know what you mean about thoughts going too far. Been there done that lol. Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. I plan to make it even bigger with more modules and greebles. I'm no greebling expert but so far its teaching me new tricks and ideas for the crampiest places. And next time I will try to add some turrets and rail guns.

Ooh yeah, this is one cool looking mini-scale. The frontal weapons assembly looks absolutely lethal. Thanks for sharing...

Quoting Sovereign of Anmar Just thought of something. Is the hull number a reference to the USN's USS Enterprise? If so I'd be honored; I served on Enterprise.
Never really thought about that. But Sure, I will definately be honored to make it a tribute to the USS. Enterprise, the crew and to anyone who has served on the ship.

awesome. I can tell from experience getting crazy angles like this to work together is nigh on impossible. Truly excellent work. the greebling is also something quite spectacular. I'm having more than a bit of trouble with that myself.
