I've built an anti tank gun, inspired by Daniel Siskinds, I set of to make my own! The Ordnance QF 6-pounder 7 cwt, or just 6 pounder, was a British 57 mm gun, their primary anti-tank gun during the middle of World War II, as well as the main armament for a number of armoured fighting vehicles. It was first used in North Africa in April 1942, and quickly replaced the 2 pounder in the anti-tank role, allowing the 25 pounder to revert to its intended artillery role. The United States Army also adopted the 6 pdr as their primary anti-tank gun under the designation 57 mm Gun M1.
This is a great piece of lego artillary.(Did I spell that right?).Two questions.1,do you ever make instructions because I would really like to build this model, and 2,where did you get that canvas cover that is on the truck towing the M1?
This is very nice. I dread this when I saw it, because it reminds me of the game Panzer Tactics DS when I was playing the German side, and these sluaghtered all my tanks. Not good... Back to the creation. I like how you made the barrel. Really good. ~ Ghostman :)
Pretty cool, random fact, A nazi Tiger tank once stumbled across 7 of these, dug into anti-tank possitions and proceded to destroy 5 out of the seven. Several hit were registered on the armor but penetration was not achieved. Sorry that was a little random. =)
