MocOlympics Round 1! Dan Church vs. Steef De Prouw
About this creation
I am competing against Steef De Prouw in the category Steam Punk. Good Luck Steef De Prouw!

Since Floating rocks had been discovered, Steampunk inventors have been thinking of ways to use them. Some use them as a spot to build a laboratory, some put wind turbines on them to generate steam, and one man decided to make it a rest stop for passing travelers. Out house and all, he succeeded in building it and as you can see the place is busy as usual. And one man has been holding it for a long, long time...

Enjoy my entry!

I remember seeing this when it first came out, and then searching for it when someone posted something similar in the MOCathalon. I just wanted to say that I really love this creation and the direction you took steampunk here.

This was one of the close ones. I really love the layout of this MOC, and in that regard you had Steef beat - very unique. I think he edged you out just a bit, though on difficulty of build, complexity, and detail. Nice work, none the less!

Haha! Great and a little misguided idea, but still a great build! Good day

This is a great build Dan. This is why judging blows - I had to vote for your opponent, he just barely edged you out. I wish that you might have been put up against a lesser builder. I wanted to see both of you guys advance to the next round. ugh. ~dave

This was just an amazing build Dan! You really pulled out all the stops on this one. I'm so glad I wasn't judging this match, I don't think I would have been able to choose. Thanks for playing! ~ Chris.

Wow! Really nice. Good Luck, man. The nice thing about a floating outhouse is that the poop just falls away. see ya. garth

You've made a rest stop extraordinary and fanciful, nice one! As I commented on Steef's, this is the highest quality matchup so far, you both have really nice entries, too bad one of you has to leave so early!

Good build, Dan. But Steefs entry has that one pinch more for me. Sorry, I voted your opponent.
