It doesn't matter on what religion you are that you will go to heaven, Religion is just to show your faith in who you believe in, It all counts you believe that Jesus is the Son of God and died for our sins. (If I'm mistaken then forget what I said :P ) |
I just love how religions all say the same thing, "Beleive in (insert deity here) and save yourself from (insert eternal punishment here)" |
Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. Mark 16:16. You can't just believe. You must put your faith into practice and live your life for God. Church isn't something that is just on sunday morning. You must take it with you throughout the week. |

hey awesome o saurus, we debated before, just had a diff acc. u guys arent evil, some christians just think of it this way, and is one main reason why not as many people are becoming christians, or why people think of them as stupid, because most of them(christians) put themselves away from other religions and atheists , saying they are evil. |

I too am christian, but i do not believe that you must be christian to go to heaven, just good. Same with christians, the other way. if your abad christian (ex. go to church but dont pray, and swear lots, get into bad things) you might not be going there.

I asked my religion teacher and she said that anyone who is good goes to heaven, not just christians. So that means non-christians are not evil unless they do evil things.

Wow. But you do realize that Jesus died for everyone? Christians and athiesits? Muslims and jews? Hinduists and buddhists? He died for all of us! But we must accept him in our hearts! Don't you realiize that maybe if their is athiests in the group it might help them turn?
He Died For All, But You Must Through Your Undevided Faith. If, You Hav Faith In Buda Or Allah e Won't Let You In. But Mis-Representing Of Scripture IS Worth Than No Faith In Christ. |

Aw man, I wanted Dante's Inferno! |
The devil doesn't actually rule 'Ye Fire', it's a common misconception. You could say he is, or more accurately, will be, condemmed to it. |
Doesn't automatically make you evil. "By their fruits you shall know them" is all well and true, but seeing as I've never actually seen you do anything 'evil' I don't think you're as bad as a lot of CFOL members used to say. Debate philosophy and bad science, and offer all the usual religious paradoxes, but not do anything definitely evil. Of course, you can still take comfort in the fact you're on the fast track to you-know-where, but that doesn't neccesarily make you evil. |
Heh heh heh, h 311... If by some strange chance everything about Christianity is true (and considering the hundreds of thousands of religions out there, this is a pretty small chance from the neutral prospective, if one chooses to adknowledge one could be true), then at least I get to debate philosophy and "bad science" with the big m34n13 himself. |
I'm an atheist. That's all the proof I need, for many. |
Let's see you prove it, then. |
No Areetsa, we're evil and wicked. That's a fact! |
Athiests aren't evil. Neither are Catholics, or Jehovah's Witnessess, or Scientologists or Muslims. Merely misguided. There have been evil atheists, just as some Catholics, Muslims and Scientologists have done morally unacceptable things. To call the whole evil based on the actions of the few, however, is just generalisation taken to the extreme. Just putting that out there. |

You do realize shepherds often raise sheep to slaughter them, right? Jesús is totally going to eat your soul, man. Pledging yourself to Satan is the only way to save yourself! |

I am a christian, but I dont think athiests are evil. We are all God's children and we are all loved by him. So I disagree with those who think athiests are evil, and those who are supporting that (Lord lego, awesomeo). thats all i have to say.
Evil In It's Oringinal Definaiton Is morally reprehensible : sinful, wicked <an evil impulse> b : arising from actual or imputed bad character or conduct <a person of evil reputation>
Definiton Is From Merriam-Webster OnLine |

Sheep don't need shepherd, humans aren't needed in the ecology, humans have a somewhat pointless existance. Sorry if you are at all offended by it, though.

And yet, what is wrong with quoting scripture? While you seem like one who is well-versed in the Holy Bible, others who view this page may not have had the benefit of your experience – consider it a reference for them. Also, 2nd Timothy 3:16-17 says: “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” |

Attending a church service has no direct correlation to one’s salvation; nor does listening to a sermon directly make one forgiven. A parable told by Jesus Christ comes to mind: ( http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke+18:9-14 ). Here is the text: To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everybody else, Jesus told this parable: "Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood up and prayed about himself: 'God, I thank you that I am not like other men—robbers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.' But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, 'God, have mercy on me, a sinner.' I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted."
You Don't Need To Quote Me Scriputre My Church's Philosophy Is "Sola Scriptura" (Scripture Alone) I Find Chrich As Relaxing, Exciting, Stimulating And Enlitening. |
