The MK-4 "Amoeba" Ultra light scout mech (Dawn Forge)
The MK-4 Amoeba, small, compact, powerfull.
About this creation
I built this little guy in about two hours. It's supposed to be in Brian's Dawn Forge theme, BUT I couldn't find space for any accent colors. So, enjoy!

Credit goes to Roflcopter, I got the idea for the legs from his Zealot.

Something else I just noticed scanning through the DF page, I THINK this is the smallest DF mech yet. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I love how the ears came out. And the legs are pretty awesome I think.

What was that about not being able to fit big guns Rofl? ;)

I just couldn't build this without adding a big number four!

Here's the connection, and the cord, I tried all kinds of cords, but this was the only one that worked.

NOW, Time for some Sci-fi BS!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WARNING: THE FOLLOWING CONTAINS SCI-FI BS. WHICH MAY OR MAY NOT PERMENENTLY SCAR YOUR EYES!!! PROCEDE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The MK-4 Amoeba was created by the fourth experimental regiment of the Dawn Forge in responce to a growing amount of enemy mechs. The Amoeba is equiped with a 42 milimetre explosive cannon. Although it has a somewhat slow rate of fire, using it's incredibly advanced on-board computer with a Data-base containing detailed specs of most enemy mechs, a small group can take down much larger mechs than themselves by targeting there weak points. In feild testing, a group of four linked amoeba proved capable of taking down an Accension class asault mech. The amoeba is extemely hard to hit, due to it's very fast speed (an average of seventy MPH) and it's very advanced ceramic plating. All of these things, on top of it's very complex internal systems bring a single Amoeba's price tag up to about half a million. Hopefully in the future these awesome mechs will be produced more heavily.

Huf... Much more sci-fi BS than I'm used to writing.

Quoting Andrew Sorensen This is quite amazing, fits right into the Dawn Forge category. You may want to add a clear red piece on the head just to indicate that it is autonmous. Like on Brians Highway44 diorama, he said "Notice the red sensor that indicates an AI controlled bot versus the green (like on the APC), which indicates a manned vehicle. I think the DF is pretty much done with windscreens on their war machines. This is the future, baby." BTW I made the 'Amoeba' on LDD, gonna order the parts soon. Thanks for the cool creation, keep up the good work! ~Andrew
Awesome, I made one also. Did you check out the Amoeba's successor? I think it's better. Thanks for the comments!

Quoting Maddog 10_20 Tiny mech with big gun = win! I really like it's design. The joints are compact without sacrificing posability, and the ears give it a great personality. Very well done! I'm going to have to try my hand at a tiny mech or two! 5/5.
Thanks, and good luck with your mechs!

As a fan of tiny robots I just have to say that I really like this. What really did it for me was the ears and legs, they just fit in so well. The giant (sorta)gun was a nice touch too.5/5
