Unmanned Fast Attack Drone (UFAD - HR) Heavy-Raptor Drone is a Medium Mech variant, by weight alone, with AI. The Raptor program was started shortly during the tri-wars due to the short availability of trained Mech Pilots. The Raptor Drones proved extremely effective in battle. Although the Raptors came late in the wars, we attributed the rather quick cease-fire to the drones. The UFAD –HR is the heavier of the two Raptors, but still quite agile. With its improved armor and weaponry, the UFAD – HR is designed for multiple combat roles to include: Fast attack, anti-Mech, defense, and many others. The AI on-board computer and sensor array rival even the fastest response times of Human Mech Pilots. The sensor system uses a four dimensional visual matrix along with several view types. The types include: enhanced thermal vision, enhanced night vision, echo response, gamma vision, and satellite views. The UFAD-01 is a modular weapons platform. The Heavy-Raptor version of the UFAD-01 has medium-range weapons. Included on the HR is the 120mm Medium-Range Multi-barrel (MRMB-6) minigun, the 300mm Medium-Range Sabot weapon (MRS-6)Six-Gun) - is capable of punching holes in medium armored vehicles while causing serious damage to interior and occupants, and a 230mm twin barrel grenade launcher.
