MRTV-7A
The MRTV-7, a common transport and utility vehicle throughout the Zenexebas Empire and surrounding colonies.
About this creation
Not much to say really; introduced around twenty years ago, fine record in warzones throughout the Empire, popular personal vehicle, widely used transport, backbone of small-scale battlefield supply lines everywhere.

Makes a pretty decent patrol vehicle, too.
A bit large for the job, but it can carry quite a few fully equipped regular troops.

In this case, said vehicle belongs to the Karbala Planetary Defence Militia (KPDM) and is suitably loaded for its supply role.
It seems the crew has seen a rabbit, too.

I should note that clearing your weapon of a jam with a combat knife is not a safe thing to do, but I would hope you'd already know better.

The MRTV has comfortable seating for two, in addition to open sides and a gap in the top of the windscreen. The back can fit a full squad of regular Zenexabas infantry, with some discomfort, or up to three standard tons of cargo.

The vehicle is commonly used for patrol roles, but that is not a job it was designed for. However, an upgrade kit exists that can convert an MRTV-7A utility vehicle into a passable armoured car; the MRTV-7C modpack isn't common, though, and the MRTV-7B is more common, although only providing cover to the back for a limited APC role and adding transparent battleplastic windows in the rollcage.

It's not too costly, though: it's very sturdy and reasonably fast when fully loaded and can make a useful combat vehicle for second-line troops, allowing them fast movement combined with excellent off-road mobility.

Unfortunately it has an undeserved reputation as a deathtrap because of the tendencies of battlefield commanders to use them as patrol vehicles.
Standard field manuals now issued recommend the MRTV-7C or Skulker armoured scout for ground patrol duties; the standard MRTV 'Jackrabbit', so called for its off-road ability, is not capable of withstanding even small-arms fire in the normal variant.

This wasn't too difficult a moc; the hardest part was the front, the rest just went together by itself. The angles there didn't actually give me much trouble, but fitting in a dashboard and steering wheel was impossible because of the cramped confines inside.
I had the rollcage/windscreen around for a while, initially with plans of making a staff car or small scout; look how I ended up, with a truck in my hands!

Well, I'd do the usual thing and say RATE & COMMENT but since you've already read this far I think it's safe to assume you're going to comment.

I wonder if anyone's going to ask for photos of the underside..

5 studder vehicles are a bit difficult to put together, I think.
I've found that 5 studs is the narrowest a vehicle can be and still fit two figs side-by-side.

7 studs, if the vehicle's fully enclosed with brick sides.

Like it; nice shape, detailing and techniques. Plus it's good to see some well placed studs! Good build 4/5 : )

Quoting alec barnes dude, ive been trying to make a vehicle like that for ages! you've gotta make some instructions for me!
Well, the only really complicated part is the front, the rest is pretty standard studs-up 5-wide building. I can give you a pic of how the bonnet goes together if you want, and maybe some of the heights and widths and applicable data for a similar windshield design, but everything rearwards of the driver's position would have to be built by you. Is that acceptable to you?

This looks pretty nice! I especially like the design for the cockpit cage thing, although my only complaint would be that the side plates could use some details =)

Quoting Lt. Colonel Ghostman This is quite good. Not bad. Pretty nice work on the cab. But I'm not going with the green seats. Maybe brown, grey or black would look much better. All in all, this is good. Well presented too. ~ Ghostman :)
Thanks. The seat colour is because the headrest part was green when I found it; brown would've been nice but I don't think I've got brown headrest components. All told, too lazy to look for two grey ones.

Quoting karta deraji It appears that you're stepping up your game here. Nice truck, now show us some variants, if you please.
Yep, I've already got the side doors and window covers for the armoured version. Depending on how soon I finish procrastinating, it'll either be up today or tomorrow.
