Very nice work there. I can't think of anything that would improve this. I like the fact that you let photoshop work for you. Well done on that part too. PS: if you ever come to be without photoshop again, paint.net is said to be a fair and free alternative. www.pixlr.com is an online alternative (no software installs, save for a Flash plugin in your browser). People keep coming up with The Gimp as a good alternative (and I bet it is too, if you're not too used to using photoshop), but the controls just aren't that comparable, is my opinion.

Quite nice- patterns are very accurate and he looks just as freaky as in the movie -but i agree with sim little too tall- how did you get photoshop -i would be happy to get one- of course rebooting computer and downloading free demo for month could work but it is frustrating- but since you have a photoshop i am sure you could do even better job- don't get me wrong but still- those studs in the middle show clearly that it's not real creation- anyone could do similar fake with paint- just copying and pasting and placing correctly and turning it to be mirrored- if pic is not straight it is hard with paint but easier with photoshop....

Yea you should check out Gimp...I use it for resizing and stuff, but I have done mosaics on there before and it was really easy.

Then you should totally be using GiMP. For most people, GiMP is a complete replacement for Photoshop and it is completely free and open source. I gotta make a mosaic too now. It has been on my list of "want to make" and now since you've done this one, I just gotta... I'm thinking a clone helmet, storm trooper or vader. I guess it depends on the colors I can find.

No. I made the mosaic by using the naked eye. I just used Photoshop to copy the first half face and flip it so it's a whole face.

Photoshop? Why not the GiMP? GiMP is free. Is there a lego/mosaic related plugin that you use in Photoshop?

The wonders of photoshop never cease to amaze me! I actually thought that you built the whole face. That is just down right sneaky! That doesn't make it any less awesome though! Great job. I'm glad you didn't go with black and white for this one.
