This is my Datsun 240Z, although it has some 280Z elements. I've tried to model it on the real thing and I think I've done a pretty good job, however there is definitely room for improvement. The engine is wrong (datsun never made a V8 version). It has a spinning lego motor (via electric motor or rear wheels), a forward/reverse gearbox, steering and suspension.

How have I missed this?! It's superb! Looks pretty accurate and quite a complex shape too. All the better for the studs - don't let anyone say this would be better studless! I do think the bonnet could be improved by adding the 240's power buldge and the rear window could be bigger, but overall a great job; 5 smiley Lego heads : )

Fantastic, I could tell it was Nissan (Datsun) from the small thumbnail on MOC home page. That shows how good this is. It would still be nice if you could try a "stud lite" version too.

Yes I have considered building studless but I find I have more options building this way, and I have a lot of studded panels. The pepsi wall is only colorful background in my house, lol

i love this car. has nice lines. great job on the studdy look. im waiting for it to be called the retro lego look. give it time heh. it has the origanal lego feel to a model when you build stud's,. and i enjoy that most.
