The Pride of Precint 13
Although they didn't really need it, Arbiter Precinct 13 received a brand new mars-pattern Sentinel. Since then, it has been repainted and fitted with an autocannon. It has yet to be deployed in a riot, but it has attended 36 parades, been the focal point of 12 demonstrative lectures for school children, and deployed to 147 different parties by it's crew to perform tricks and to show their machine off. Despite these petty uses of such valuable technology, this walker is still combat ready. This vehicle is maintained by the Precint's Mechanicus staff, and polished every day by the crew. It is, in every sense of the word, the Pride of Precinct 13.
About this creation
Precint 13's Sentinel Walker is cared for with almost obsessive devotion by both the Operational and Maintenance Crews, who view the metal contraption as their own child. Despite paintings and several non-standard changes, the walker remains mostly faithful to the typical Mars-pattern design. It has been upgraded to a leather pilots seat though.

Despite all protests by the Arbites Board of Directors, the flag remains on the vox antenna. The crew and commanding officer of Precinct 13 claim it exists to grant their walker 'Style Points', despite the arguments that it scrambles broadcasts, and makes the walker even more visible. The same has been said of the paint job.

Many of the maintenance crew complained of having to paint the Sentinel, because it was fresh from the manufactories, but the operations crew won out after a tense match of Rock, Paper, Scissors. Overall, they played 142 separate games of Rock, Paper, Scissors in a desperate attempt to save each side's position. In the end, the Board of Directors decided it would help the force's image to have at least one brightly painted vehicle.

The Coloring was carefully applied by the maintenance crew, in what the considered to be a tasteful arrangement, and so that the gray (The primary color of the Arbiter's vehicle squadrons) was not overpowered.

Fourth Wall:
Well, it's been several months since this, and I think I can safely say this is my best Walker to date. The coloration still throws me (Almost everything I build is covered in gray. I'm boring that way), but I'm still proud of my leg and head designs for this one. Also, that giant autocannon is still sexy. I really have to rebuild this thing one of these days...

Not only a good scale model, but also it is something to be proud of just like the others do. I like the combination of the legs that are very tall and the headcage above that. So if the sun shines behind this model and you look upward to the headcage, it will become totally like a mysterious and darkish serpent that pushes you backward. Beautiful and scary, that's the keyword.

Thank you! I have noticed quite a few Dreadnaughts. They are intimidating though, so I can understand why.

Wow! You've actually made good looking sentinel.Mostly there are only dreadnought's in lego form, but no sentinels. You are great W40K lego builder. Rated 5/5

I'm a big Tau fan as well, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate the Guard's kit as well, now does it ;)?

Quoting Areetsa C I have no idea what it's based on, but it's a very nice little police vehicle.
It's based on the Imperial Guard Sentinel from Warhammer 40,000 http://www.tabletop-terrain.com/stu/archives/2007/sentinel2_orig.JPG
