While on holiday in Dubrovnik, Croatia we regularly got the bus into Dubrovnik from our holiday home. I've made one of the buses that took us on the very scenic journey from Mlini into Dubrovnik old town.

About this creation

MAN Lion's City single decker bus. This is a model of one of the buses in Croatia which we caught to go to Dubrovnik and Cavtat. Managed to find a pic or two on the Internet to help make sure I got this as close as I could to the real bus.

New pictures added 31st August 09 as I have now made opening doors which resemble those on the real bus.

Thank you for such a kind comment! I'm glad you're impressed with this model. I was in Dubrovnik for a week in the summer so I built this few weeks later when I came home. It's a lovely place to go, I'll go again some time in the future.

Really accurate - great build! You definitely caught the 'feel' of the local Public Transport.(Destination signs are a nice touch.) I see these buses every day - hang-on: there's one passing by right now...!!!
