My smuggler's freighter. Like a cross between a Millenium Falcon and a droid control ship.

About this creation

This is my smuggler's freighter. Clearly inspired by the Trade Federation battleship and droid control ships. It is comparable to a YT-1300 (Millennium Falcon) or one of the smaller Corellian freighters. I'll be adding greeblies to the outer rind and more detail inside. The cockpit releases, doubling as an escape pod.

Side/top view. I tried to create the illusion of of the dark gray on top since no angled bricks/plate would fit perfectly.

Top shot shows the overall shape. Note: you can see the old gray vertical stripes on the outside of the arms. This was changed to the current dark gray horizontal band.

Hey Jonah. Glad you found it. It was a lot of playing around to get the shape right. The main kit used was the Millennium Falcon, which has flip up wedges that were the inspiration for the top of the cargo bays.

Maybe you can make it more droid control ship y adding a mini Naboo starfighter and droid racks in the empty spaces because the ship is nice detailed ( except the engines) but it has many spaces left so fill it! Keep building!

I agree with lnk.yuo. Even though the back is a little blocky, thats completely passable. This smuggler vessel deserves 5 smilies. keep it up man.
