My first World War two moc- Allies are attacking to the Nazi occupied farm- somewhere in Central-Europe during the second world war....
About this creation
Allies attacking to the farm controlled by the axis forces...
Allies- (those soviets from indysets are supposed to be american instead and that thing is supposed to be handgrenade- i don't use brickarms stuff if you are wondering- but i tried to customize some weapons myself....)
Axis...
Some music from the Medal of Honor- game which inspire me to build this
I like the music in these Moh games....This "Manor House Rally" is one of my favorites
Overview of the whole dio- (it was fun to do something different after so many sw-dios- but don't worry i won't stop making them- i may also do some other historic dios...)
Nazis defending the farm (That pump in the well seems to be backwards in some pics....like this)
Allies have destroyed the gate...
This naziofficer have customized stick grenade (better use for those flickfiremissiles if you ask me...)
Since this is sorta cutaway i was able to built insides of the house as well- it was lot of fun...
Upstairs are working as main commandpost to the axis....
Nazigeneral are giving orders to repel enemy-attack
Details on the table- map with marked battle plans- magnifying glass- books- those white tiles are supposed to be papers (Pretty thick papers !?) and that "lamp" from clone bp is supposed to be pen...
On the other side of the little room- there is fireplace and that thing on the table is supposed to be radio- and there seems to be some trophies like the big fish and golden plates....
Little kitchen downstairs....
Entrance and the hall- that dark red on the floor are supposed to be a carpet- not blood...
Barn- i made traditional red barn with white framework...
Barn inside.... Walls are quite thick for a barn though- i wanted that it is red from outside but not inside....
Inside the barn there are some supplies and equipment for german soldiers (including stretcher for heavily injured troops...)
Upstairs of the Barn are good place for snipers- hatch is opening btw...
American airbornes
This hedge needs cutting....
Another shot of the battle at yard...
Some customwapons- not the best possible mp-40 and stickgrenade aka Steilgrenate...

Nice job once again but there are quite a few things that could use improving. The minifigs look good and I like the selection you used but I suggest using the german bodies from the Indy sets as American or Allied forces instead of germans just because the 'signature' grey suit that the wehrmacht is known for makes it easier to make out the different factions. I do understand if you don't have many grey bodies as I don't have many but its just something to think about. The weapons you choose also could use some improvement... the Machine guns that the Americans are using look to bulky and ugly in this type of creation and it's better to have less guns then guns that take away from the whole thing. I found looking up World War 2 guns in the search box is very helpful for making brickbuilt guns. Enough of my Rambling though and if I sound harsh sorry I just want to help you make better creations. Your buildings though are excellent and exceed standards especially since you included details on the inside as well as the outside. Keep up the good work and I hope to see more WW2 from you!
Yeah this is my first ww2 moc -you can see little improvements i did to my bunker- i used german bodies to nazis still but i changed arms to the dark grey- i also did two dark ss-men or something like that - also there seems to be lighter naziuniforms too but i realized that then it is hard to see who is axis and who allies- so i used clearer colorscheme in my next moc i used darkgray only fo nazis and light colors like dark tan mainly for allies... I don't agree with guns though- i made better mp'40s to my next moc but i think official lego rifles are pretty good garands and bars since i don't use brickarms stuff- they are not completely accurate- but hey are legoguys like real humans either- but thanks for constructive critisism that helps a lot :)

That's too bad. You could have Thompsons and MP40s and M1 Garands.
But thay are just one part molded to look like them- it is more fun try to make them myself- i just figured out how to make mp-40 (better than this funny axe thing here) Garands are harder though...

i have this game and when i listened to the sound tracks it gave my memories in MOH where you land in a parachute at the farm stead but sadly one of your team mates got stuck up in the wind mill then he got shot... ahh,,,, memories do you have this game?
Yep this was inspired by it that holland countryside was slightly inspiration for this...

You are mistaken, I'm simply giving you something to improve on. And I never suggested you to BUY lamps, I meant just use some kind of light. I meant that besides the Nazi officers, they aren't that differant. You don't have to take my constructive criticism, I'm not going to hammer it into you.....
I don't find your critisism very constructive- you started by saying that "this is not done very well"- but then you can find problems only from photographing and minifigs- please next time little more polite comments..... i never say to anyone "this is not done very well" -if something is not done very well i usually don't even comment -or then i simply say which part of the moc is not done well- also if you suggest me to get some lamps- you also mean that if i don't have them -i have to buy- i have not very good lamps for moc photographing- i won't picture with flashlight... I'll try to improve pics and minifigs next time- you were right that they could be better....

Well, quantity doesn't outweigh quality Swash.
It's huge and people want to look and comment, but it's not done very well. The troops are a bit unrecognizable if you ask me. But I love the cutaway of the house! And the sniper is pretty cool I guess, but he is a bit obvious just standing in the window. Photography makes a good impression and adds to the MOC, it doesn't look like you tried to take good pics. Get some lamps and a big posterboard, it will look 10 times better! A lot of work can be done, but it's a start, I suggest starting with some small vigs, and work your way up if you do WWII.
Woah you are overcritic if you ask me- this took long me to build so do something like this yourself then -if you want to see well photographed pics i haven't intention to start any photographing hobby so i definitely won't buy any lamps for that- if these aren't good enough for you please don't watch them... You were right about sniper i was lazy and just sticked him there to show that there are sniping position... Troops are pretty much like the real ones- they were pretty unrecognisable sometimes- did you meant that axis and allies look too much same or what...

Swash, I suggest using orange or yellow translucent cones for firing effects.
I thought that too- thanks- but i use old lego rifles- cones don't fit them (backwards they fit but it looks funny) there is sort of bead in them (don't know is that right word- little stick that helps aiming...)

Nice WW2 MOC. The minifigs are great. The buildings by itself look great, but they should be blackend and war torn. Great start on WW2 MOCs though.
Well they are not bombed and battle has just began -allies try to capture the farm and destroy AAA-guns placed in fields nearby (not in the moc thogh) XD- i always have an explanation to everything...

Wow! This is realy good! I escpecialy love the inside of your buildings! But all the forces just charging seems kind of dumb, but its still pretty kool! Your right, that Potatoe Masher grenade is a way better use of flick fires! Oh and finaly! Someone else who still plays that old relic known as MOH front line! The strange thing is I dont remember that level? =)
This is not moh level... but i have frontline -it is nice i have also "rising sun" and "airborne"...

That is alot of detail in those buildings!I see you used a gun from a starwars set as a sniper rifle :)
Yeah it has lense in it in those days there were rarely lense in other than sniper-rifles... I can invite you to my historygroup if you're interested...
