Imperial I-class Star Destroyer
My Imperial I-class Star Destroyer
About this creation
Well this has to be the hardest creation I have ever made, I had none of the ISD sets that have come out recently because of money, but I made my own and well this is it. This is my official contest entry for Mood Swim's Star Destroyer contest.

Stay tuned for more!

Outstanding work! I'm blown away about the fact that you didn't even have the set, and STILL made it look better then the official! BTW don't listen to those people who *cough*think they know everything*cough* say that it's the set, I can clearly tell it's not. I looked hard at a picture of the real set, and could tell the many differences in yours, compared to the set.

Quoting Muffin manifestation It IS the 6211 Imperial Star Destroyer. Take pictures of it opened up so we can see how you got the slopes of the top down. Pics of the bottom? I noticed how you took none of the pictures that would give away that this was the same set.
Do you know how to read, I said I didn't have any of the sets and had internet references and also those engine parts are really common, I got mine for my Turbo Tank set. I really wish I could show you what you want to see but this was taken down months ago but you can clearly tell the difference if you actually look at how the slopes of the set, folds from the outside and mine does not
  December 20, 2009
And the engines are EXACTLY the same.

You know what I've noticed about MOCpages? You build any sort of Star Wars Creation, and it gets 100 comments. Usually said creation doesn't even deserve the hundred comments. But THIS, THIS deserves all of the comments that it has! Nice job! Maybe I should build a Star Wars MOC so I become popular...

Thank you for the generous offer, but to be honest: I don't know how to build this model, when I accept the challenge, I thought it couldn't be so difficult. But it was a challenge, which I failed on. And now the motivation for constructive results has left me. So you can post it, I must regretably in thanks decline. We can try a MocComparison another time, with an other model, if you want. Nethertheless thank you for the invitation to the comparison and thanks for your appreciation! - Kevin
  August 12, 2009
Hey, I'm really ashamed of the following things I have to say: I'm really sorry, but i have to cancel our comparison, because the time for me is running out and I did not get a good shape and front of the model. Even more exactly is that I have nothing. And now after hours of work without any acceptable results, I'm really desperate, depressed and frustrated. My muse have left me. I'm so sorry about it, because I was it, who pressures you for thursday. You can post your finished model now if you want. I hope your not to angry to me. - Kevin (you can delete this comment when you have read it)

This is one the best micro Star Destroyer I have seen - I'm also myself not sure, I use also the game as reference and I have big problems with the front, to be honest: At the moment I don't know how to make the front with the cockpit. Are you ready with your front?

This has to be the best Star Destroyer on MOCpages. I love the immense greeblies you added to it, all the turbolasers, and the overall shape. This is an extremely accurate rendition of the Star Destroyer. BTW I think this is the best SD because Lasse D. had pieces from the Star Destroyer set and you didn't :] PS could you check out my Millennium Falcon?

You know what.... I actuallmy prefer this to the original set. (of course, I mean the small one... you've got more work to do to beat the UCS version lol!) I tink lego's original star destroyer set is ruined b the minifigs and the way they try and pt them iin there; and wat's all the trans-neon-green for ? Your set is better, it's to scale (no minifigs crammed in the bridge) , looks right, perfect colours, and... well, is just amazingly good looking :) Dan

Nice work! While similar in size and shape to the official LEGO set, I think you have done a great job of really making it your own. The greebles on the outside really make it come alive and I like these more than what was done on the official set. Your work on the bridge area looks fantastic. Nice job!

@Phantom Roamer: Give it up. Now, about the moc: Nice work here. I like what you did for the bridge deflector shields. This is also much better than the minifig set. Also, I love what you did for the bridge details, and the body of the ship, right below the bridge. Very nice job, looks very accurate to the real thing. Keep it up. BTW Does this have an interior?

So... you delete my comments. No matter, everyone knows the truth. But I promise you I will keep shtum. I respect you as a builder but you need to make yourself more... different than well, you know. Anyway on the MOC, it's good but too similar to the set but that may be a good thing. I like the frigate. ~ Phantom

well I like it very much... but I own the ISD set, and I must say it's design is almost identical to this, so I think you used some kind of instruction from the internet to build the main ship design. there are a lot of imporvements thogh like the bridge and the new canons, none or less great job!!!
