This is where Audi hit it big in the rally business.
About this creation
<<< A quick note, I know this vehicle is technically 16-wide, but I did not want to make another folder just for one creation... >>>
Another version of my Audi. This was the Audi boss, the true rally car. Again, most changes I have made here are only the exterior. The engine still looks the same, with the exception of a few minor changes exterior changes. All changes made to this engine were not Lego model visible, like a new turbo, and other engine interior mods. So lets start with the most obvious change, the fenders. All the extra spoilers were added to aid downforce, because on the track, this car would fly, with 500 new horses inserted under the bonnet. The front bumper is now pointed, with the intakes being pushed farther back, with a metal plate being inserted in the center (I have no idea what that is) The hood has new hood pins, the two extra bulges on the side are from the rally shocks. There is a new vent on the left side. The mirrors are now more aerodynamic. There is a new side vent mounted on the rear fender. The rear bumper and grille have undergone some major changes. The rear bumper is now higher up. The taillights have been changed to smaller bulbs. The rear grille is now larger, to account for the rear cooling fans. There is also a new very large rear spoiler. In the interior the rear seat has been altogether removed, and racing seats have been installed in the front. The exhaust is now more of a straight pipe with a large tip.
<<< Another quick note. The actual car is shorter, and it is visible in the rear side window. I was not able to do this on my model, because I will be returning this car back to stock, and changing lenght would be a lot of hard work. Also, I apologize for any other fallacies that may appear in the car. >>>

Thank you for viewing my creation, I hope you enjoyed it.

Yes, this is nice. Especially the rear has very good detail in line with the original S1.
I have seen one of the real S1's in action during a historic rally in Germany.... that is a beast of a car! |
