Custom Pickup: "Diamondback"
This is what you get when you play too much Burnout Paradise, and have an abundance of red pieces. It's not based on any of the cars in Burnout, only inspired by them. If I could design my own vehicle to be featured in the game, this would be it!
About this creation

The chassis. (but you already knew that)

I'm testing out a new muffler design, by running the exhaust pipes through those grooved 1x4 bricks.

How 'bout we take a look at the interior now?

Sorry, no custom racing seats here! All I had room for was a simple bench seat, similar to the one in my F-stang pickup.

The dashboard turned out pretty good, as simple as it is.

And now, let's get under the hood to see what powers this beast!

Aaaww, crud. It's another V8. Sometime, I should make a vehicle with a V6, or maybe even an in-line six.

But it's still a totally sweet V8, if I do say so myself.

But wait! There's more...

HOLY CRUD!!!!! How did that get in there?!?!?!

Uh, what was..??.. Um, nevermind. The last feature is an opening truckbed cover, inspired by an old Hotwheels car I saw once.

It's really more of an opening trunk, as small as the bed is. This truck is obviously NOT for heavy hauling.

And that, folks, is the Diamondback. I hope your visit wasn't too.. Um, strange... Suggestions and comments are always welcome, and thanks for viewing!

Quoting Dax Olesa Oh and by the way, you know that large scale car I was talking about in BoW? I finished building it yesterday, and it should be posted in a week or so :D
OOPS! I meant to reply to this earlier, but it I totally forgot. Anyway, the new car sounds good.... REALLY good! And don't worry about the chassis. You've got to start somewhere, and it'll be nice to see you building in a larger scale. I'm looking forward to seeing the car!

Front nay, back yay, but that's just personal preference on the looks - it's a really good model : ) P.s... thought the Halo pic was very funny! (so true!)

Great on Nate! This reminds me a lot of your F-Stang pickup! And excellent use of a red canopy for the roof! I saw a rod in The Rod Club with a roof like that not long ago ;) Oh and by the way, you know that large scale car I was talking about in BoW? I finished building it yesterday, and it should be posted in a week or so :D One thing that it lacks that your cars DO have is a big engine and a realistic chassis. I just never have space for a big engine... But yeah! Keep an eye peeled ;) And great job on this one!

jep another sweet sweet ride.. Oh and by the way: the idea; building a car with an inline six cylinder engine sounds good especially because I cannot for the life of me figure out how to build a good one...

Excellent work! I like the rear end the most, with the 4 pipes, very nice touch... good work also on the functional elements and of course on the opening trunk ;) the interior and engine are very well made as well... all in all another great model from you, keep it up >>> peace.. Firas :)

Great job, at this scale, the way you built this, is perfect. Permisable alternatte use of gears on the wheels, ;) and that spoiler is really nice!
