About this creation
This is my virtual LEGO rendition of This is my virtual LEGO rendition of the STAR Corp. X1 “Final Farewell” High-grade Demolitions Charge.
This device has some improvements over industry-standard demolition charges. First, the explosive material is coated with a nano-weave of protection (made up of interlocked particles of synthetic diamond, tungsten, and titanium. This advanced layer of protection ensures that the demolitions charge cannot be set off, damaged, or destroyed by most external factors. These safety measures help protect the workers handling the explosive, and also save money on external protection in the event that the explosive is carried in/through a hazardous area.
Another improvement is the tiered-detonation technology used in the actual explosive material. Rather than simply blowing the whole stack at once, the inner layers explode first, causing the outer layers to fragment and be pushed outward, only exploding when the inner layers are already in the process of detonation. This leads to a more efficient effect, and less wasted explosive material.
STAR Corp. takes yet another precaution with all its high-grade explosive ordnance. In order to reduce the chances of explosive hardware falling into the hands of evil elements (like terrorist), and being used against STAR Corp. or one of its allies, all high-grade explosives (demolition charges, bombs, torpedoes, depth charges, missiles, etc.) come manufactured with a software/hardware key combination that only a licensed user (such as a legitimate government’s military) can activate through a major STAR Corp. office.
* This is MOC a product of STAR Corp. The company uses it mainly for mining and demolition operations. Military customers, however, have found more “creative” uses for the device.
* As usual, the program I used to build this is LeoCAD.
I then converted it to an .ldr file and rendered it with LDView.
