This is my entry for Moodswim's Star Wars Movie Vignette contest. It's built on a 16x32 baseplate. Originally, I was going to do a minifig-scale MOC, but this version gave me the chance to actually make a battle scene, instead of just a little 1 on 1 fight. It also showcases 4 of my favorite minis.
About this creation
Now, normally, I'd start my sales pitch right here. No, not here, actually, probably about 3 lines down. Yeah, over there. But, since this is a vignette, and not an actual product of Legoarts, consider this a demonstration

^Yoda, a Clone Commander, and a gunner at the Forward Command Post.

A squad of clones disembark from the LAAT/i

^Mace Windu Leads a squad of clones into battle.

^An LAAT/c drops off an AT-TE.

^The Homing Spider Droid.

^Geonosian and B1 reinforcements.

^The Dwarf Spider Droid.

^The center of the action.

^Count Dooku speeds past on his Mobquet speeder.

Pretty nice but dwarf spider would look better without the "eye" and commandpost should be red- hands look nice as miniguys when doing troop transport etc. they won't look so good in battle -still excellent miniships save this to be very good- but maybe you can do even better... |

I thought you'd pull this out eventually, but the Homing Spider droid is way too big and the scenery doesn't quite remind me of Geonosis. Maybe if you had an AT-TE on the ground, and then a couple of Dropships flying overhead..... |

Quoting Brady G
Wait a minute- If Windu is all mocha in this MOC, does that mean he's streaking in the midst of battle? I'm not too knowledgeable in the battle of Geonosis, but I'm doing quite a bit of reaserch in starwars. Why? To blend in more with MOCpages, understand what you're talking about, and know what the bleck you're building.
The best color would be beige, but LEGO doesn't make beige hands. I already made the B1s flesh-colored, tan is indistinguishable from flesh at this scale, and a light-pearl gold 3PO hand looked too metallic. So I settled for brown. |

Now THATS creative. You did a very good job on the vehicles and I especially love the spider droid. The best idea you has for this MOC was using the LEGO hands for people. The detail is incredible on it, very good for a mini. Excellent job! Could you please check out my Commander Martin? |

I'm one who likes to offer critiques and advice in my reviews, but there is hardly anything to critique here. Granted scenery can always be made more dynamic, but I'm sure how much more you could do with this. Dooku's speeder is phenomenal, the laser beams always a nice touch, and the action on the ground really portrays action, very very cool. |
