Inspiration struck hard for this one after the vignette contest going on in the group Military 1863-2012. This is a quote from an 82nd Airborne soldier during the Battle of the Bulge when the U.S. Army was in retreatfrom the Ardennes forest, he stayed to fight. As far as I know I'm the very first one to make a MOC out of a war quote, and this leaves room for imagination and a little story.

About this creation

The original quote: "They saw a bazookaman digging a foxhole. Dirty, unshaven, unperturbed, exhausted, he could have posed for Mauldin's "Willie". "Are you looking for a safe place?", he drawled. "Yeah", said Banister. "Well buddy, just pull your vehicle behind me." He hitched up his droopy pants. "I am the 82nd Airborne. And this is as far as the bastards are going."

Quoting Lieutenant J you curse alot! cool decals!

Well, cursing is allowed in creations but blocked and will ban you in comments/conversations, that word in the title is not a curse word (DO NOT look it up though) But you're fre to put anything you want in your creations (some limits of course) And those decals are made by some guys called Matt & Alex here in MOCpages as well. And about the SW thing,it's kind of a stereotype, like Alaska being a cold, unpopulated and ugly place, they are fake most of the times but true in some cases, what I'm telling you is to keep on making clones, no one stops you, but don't add every single one as a single MOC, if you want to add them add about 20 of them or so in a single page, it sometimes gets people mad that their MOCs get flushed away by some lots of clones. Why didn't you rate???

First off I would like to say AWESOME. Now that thats over time to judge. Details 10/10 (everything looks awesome from the jeep to the sandbags to the tree) Creativity 9/10 (battle of the bulge = Awesome) and Overall 9/10 (I would like to give you a 10/10 here but at some places it looks a little not as polished as the rest of the Moc). Overall 28/30 You've got a good chance at winning this. Good Luck!
