humm my jackal can take a full clip in the chest and keep cooming and the hunter can take sustaned fire from three rifles for about 30 second before retreating then again there heavy units meant to survive

For a standard phaser assault rifle it takes 1 to 3 shots to destroy a DA-40 depending on how good of a shot you are. The DA-40 was not built to be a hard hitting killing machine it was built as an easy to mass produce infantry unit. Their power is in numbers.

I never really thought about it. Maybe double a U.T.M., C.O.P. or E.O.S. infantry mini-fig.

I agree with Nate: this is definately one of the best foot soldier designs for DA. I really like the leg design and the weaponry.
