Douglas DC-3
Originally a school art project, this roughly minifig-scale replica of a Douglas DC-3 has been around my house for years, only recently getting around to being uploaded onto MOCpages
About this creation

Originally a school art project, this roughly minifig-scale replica of a Douglas DC-3 has been around my house for years. The fuselage is atleast 2, maybe 4, studs too wide. Some other features such as the nose, tail, and wings could have used some more work as well. Unfortunantly, the model is no longer together and I didn't think it was worth the time and effort to photoshop it and take out 4 layers of studs from the fuselage. Besides that, though, I consider it to be a pretty decent, detailed model.

The DC-3 parked next to another aircraft that slightly resembles a Bombardier Dash 8 that I call the Orbit.

Quoting jeff pease Nice work, The tail is very accurate, but the nose seems just a slight bit too pointy. I myself am working on a Douglas DC-2 for a stop-animation movie, and will upload it fairly soon.
I look forward to watching it! Thanks for stopping by. I just checked out your DC-2 a second ago, actually; my comment was redundant, I apologize! Lol! Keep me posted!

Quoting Crypto Sporidium 138 Next, you should try to make a bombardier Leerjet 60xr (civilian private jet) or a beechcraft
Funny you should mention that...I had that in mind myself!

Nice shape, and a great SNOT nose. The engines are well made. Nice wings, too.

Nice work! This looks pretty good. The fuselage might be a little bulky, but I still think you did an admirable job capturing this classic aircraft. Oh, and I love the chalk-line runways! Way cute idea!

Nice plane, but the wings and compartments could have used a little more brushing up. Still, better that my planes! Good day
