At last the long awaited MODs to my AT-TE set have been uploaded. Sorry it took so long guys! Includes my customised Captain Rex.
About this creation
First thing's first, let's get to Captain Rex. Firstly, I got rid of his bulky clonetrooper equipment and made my own. Here you can see his pauldron.
Next you will notice I simply added blue stripes to white arms.
Finally, here is his kamma, only visable from the back.
Now, on to the main feature. Let's start at the cockpit. Apart from the obvious color changes, I also added a parascope...
...and completely changed how the hatch opens. No more sliding seat! Hooray! If you own either Star Wars: The Incredible Cross-Sections Episode 2, or The Complete Cross-Sections, you will know it is supposed to open this way.
Here are the controls, which are attached to the hatch. There are still 2 control levers, and a holo-pad for Heads Up Display, and recieving video transmitions. *cough* Order 66 *cough*
This minor change actually occured during the first costruction. I changed how you build the end of the barrel, and now it looks better.
On the turret, I also added actual controls. (Also, you can't see it here and I forgot to take a photo of it, but I added some parts to the turret turn table to keep the gun from sagging.
Another thing I changed during construction was that now, when you move the leg, the "hub cap" moves with it. See? Leg back...
...leg at rest.
Now, if I could direct your attention to where the leg is supposed to be, you will see I filled in the huge holes! (I also did pretty much the same thing with the floor.)
I also added extra bricks to the back armor to better cover the troops inside. This is the end of the walker and the end of this MOD page. Hope you liked it!

You know the holes in the floor? If you covered them UNcover them and put ladders there. Look SO much better and there's a way for the troops to get out. Great mods. |
