Gonore Castle
It's time to write history! Just kiddin ;)
About this creation
I am glad that I proudly can present you "Gonore Castle"!
I finaly finished my biggest and greatest moc till now! Gonore Castle, Totaly made out of lego! I even built Gonore Harbor. It took me 2 years to build it.
It contains four self designed houses, self designed decals, really much legos and a lot of fun!

Why the blue wall?
well, I ran out of grey with the harbor and the houses.
But the better answer is, why not? Blue is a nice collor and many people are wrestling with the big grey wall sindrome. I used medium blue, light blue and grey so I don't have a big one collor wall sindrome. And because blue isn't used so often for a castle wall.

The harbor took me about two days, wich is pretty fast I think. I just was in a lego trance:P

Sense and Justice information

In the City Gonore

The farmer is letting his cattle graze on the near pasture.

The public square of Gonore, with a well. It's bursting with life.

A guy who can't hold his liquor.

Or he just drunk too much...

A dark alley between two houses.

A hopless and hungry wanderer tries to steel an apple of two rats.

A shield bearer is busy with clothing his knight.(check knights shoulder)

A customer is excited because his axe is ready, made by the best weaponsmith in town.

A jester is amusing the crowd in front of the tavern Crossed Swords. Even a skeleton likes it!

The houses

The blacksmith who is best in making cart wheels.

The house of the kings counsellor.

The tavern "Crossed Swords". The best tavern in the city.

The training camp. Here are the knights of the order of the black cross trained.

The blacksmith who is best in making weapons and will take care of the horse their feet.

The cloister in Gonore castle. Mainly the members of the order of the black cross live here.

Outside the City Gonore

Around the harbor it is full of merchants.

And where merchants are, there are thiefs...

C3PO: We're doomed!
What the? What are they doing here!?

A small pool near the castle, it is connected with the channel.

The blue came out nice.

An asian guy wants to get in the castle, but from the look of the right knights face I can tell him that it won't happen.

Gonore Harbor

The harbor itself isn't very big but I think it has the right size and shape.
A big part of it is SNOT technique because i ran out of grey bricks, but it came out better than expected and I won't change it anymore. There is also a jail in it.

Viking who missed his boat to travel back home.
Pirate in boat: Ej,*ick* ye should forget 'bout these vi*ick*kings and 'bout ur 'ome. I lost me leg, but I *ick* forgot 'bout that too!

A crazy'ol pirate who finaly is washed ashore after his ship was shipwrecked.

Two pirates loading their little boat to row with the treasure to their big vessel near the shoal curve(to know what i mean click here).

PLEASE RATE AND COMMENT.
I WORKED HARD, SO...

Finished on 20-07-09, a historical day in my life.

Quoting King John This is an amazing creation! I'm new and I was wondering what I'll have to do to join your group C.C.C. I don't have any pictures of my creations up now...but still I just need to what the qualifications are.
You first have to upload some creations. and if they are good enough, you will be accepted in the C.C.C. When is it good enough? well, if your pictures are not blurry it is allready a big plus! Just build something but don't upload it imediately, just wait a few days and add something to it. And if you think it is finished just upload it and then we will see. But please, no blurry pics!

Well you have a nice castle there the only thing that NEEDS and I mean NEEDS to be changed is you need to make it so it has a mane focal point how to do this? simple make it so we can easly see the best part of the cast wich can be different for evry castle. But in this case it is the court yard. the rest is very good I would study some archetchure to get a idea of what I mean.

Of all the details the well has to be my favorite. Well Done. Though I don't like the usage of the medevial market village set. It would have been better if it was completly custom. Point down for use of a set. 4/5

Gr.

Just great! I love the amount of detail you included in this moc, the town dr*nk is hilarious(not sure if dr*nk is censored)! Anyway a while back, you asked me if I would make mongoose instructions, I would but then sense I'm gonna start selling them on bricklink they wouldn't sell... see they kind of clash. Anyway, if your intrested at all, I'll probably be selling them for around $7

Quoting Freela and BrickFan93 Two years! I can't see this taking that long. I'm not saying that this doesn't have a lot of work put into it, because it does, but that's still a very long time. Also, this seems to be more of a village than a castle. Okay, that's really all I can find to be picky about, because this really doesn't seem to have any faults! Excellent job.
I can explain why it took me two years, I first wanted two castles, but I didn't do that after I almost build two, than I used one to make a small village, but I liked building a village to much to make such a small one, so I made it larger. then I saw that the place where I was building it was too small so I totally had to bring it to another spot. this was pretty much work and there I saw that I had even more space to make an even bigger village. So I changed the idea so often that it took me two years. pretty difficult ey?

Awesome. I like it all, expect for two things: The blue wall (sorry) and the tan house from the market village. Why? Because one of the houses isn't flush up against the edge of the baseplate, so it looks as if anyone can just walk right into the house from the back. Other than that, great job!

Not too bad of a creation...However the castle in blue? it doesnt look bad maybe another color. Another thing is it looks a little chaotic and everything is jumbled together. Nice crusaderss, and cross shields though.

Great work! Great details! Blue wall is something new, but it came out quite nice. Surely it's not about blue stone, it's painted; somewhat different building strategy, not pure stone. I agree that there are to many gray walls syndrome around MOCs these days. Once again: fantastic!

What's not to love about this creation. You have built many fine buildings, added in a great number of scenes with minifigs to entertain us, there are clever uses of parts. You should be very proud of this one. Thanks for sharing. Lee.
