CPF-136
The CPF-136, the newest flying wing space/atmospheric fighter out of Thyrenda. About time I got another MOC up.
About this creation

Good morning, afternoon, or evening, veiwer. Flying wing, again. This time it's much better than my first attempt. I'm gonna split up the short backstory throughout the photo's, because I have a feeling no one ever reads them when they're up here.

The CPF-136 is the direct descendant of the CPF-133. Pilots and designers alike criticized it's poor design towards the front of the craft, saying the engineers of Thyrenda could do better. However, the shipyards were clogged up with a mass-refitting of all Harbinger battleships. (That's coming up in a few days).

A few months later, while searching for some vital paperwork, one Thyrendi designer came across some sketches for a new flying wing (I discovered two partial wings I had started on after the mixed reveiws to the CPF-133, buried under a POAM set).

So it was built, smoother looks and better guns. Missiles were still part of the ordancance (I forgot to put them on for photo's). It was slightly smaller than it's predessecor, but handled much better in space.

This was gonna be called the CPF-134, but after watching Lord of the Rings: Return of the King (great movie), I dug out my LOTR soundtracks and started listening to them. For those of us who love them, you might recall the music when Gandalf and Pippin go into Minas Tirith, all the way to the top, to chill proper with Denethor...

...Well, I was listening to that music, and it comes on at 2:36 on the track of mine that it's on. I decided that that music fitted Thyrenda and the Thyrendi very well. But I couldn't call my fighter CPF-236, that wouldn't work well, so I had to settle for CPF-136. Nerdy, yes.

This slot is for advanced sensors... i.e., There was no way to cover it up without ruining the look.

I like the way the cockpit turned out. The steering thingy is all over the lego building world, don't know who made it first. And the green thing is the HUD, because I couldn't fit anything else in.

Uh oh. Hmm... That blur was at the end of the CPF-133 photo's... I wonder if Awesome is trying to hint at something coming. Speaking oh hints, I found the vital part of POAM 12 today, after TWO F**KING WEEKS of searching. Expect that later, after I'm done writing. Maybe later this afternoon, Pacific time, or maybe tommorow afternoon, Pacific time. I sleep right through the mornings right now. Go to sleep at 3 AM, wake up at noon, you know the drill.

But, POAM 12, coming in the next 48 hours unless something horrible happens to me or my family (or city, for that matter)! Reveiw it nao!

Top veiw of the new version, just for something in the COP:

I've got a habit of not speaking clearly. It either ends in that I say something that has to do with the case, but is very hard to understand for others, or I for some reason suddenly start talking about something else in the middle of a sentence.

Quoting Anders Hognerud Isn't it ironic? I've been knowing for SO long, but haven't asked about it yet. And I saw that video in 5th grade! But Yuri got first... Anyway, great fighter! I like that cockpit and the way it curves back to the engines!
You've known what for so long? Tell me in an email if you must. You comment perplexes me.

Quoting Elite Marshal: Evan Ehrenberg, Supreme Commander of the 550th Great job, I give you 5/5, but I want to help you out with some suggestions, mainly that it's not big enough, and on a second detail, I think that it could use a FEW more colors, maybe some black and dark gray, the entire thing being light gray looks a bit too.... plain.
It's supposed to be small.. But I agree, I guess I could have put a few more colors. Not a lot of room to work with, here, though...
