Quoting Brickdoctor
Quoting swashbuckler and Darren i'm pretty sure that stud is symbol of Open Circle fleet- am i right?- not bad idea....
You are correct. It's there because the LEGO set has one. Although I really don't know why LEGO put one there. The AT-OT is only seen once in service of Aayla Secura, who isn't part of the Open Circle fleet. Of course, the Clone Wars TV show put the symbol on all of the Venators
Actually, I thought it was an honor symbol. I could be wrong.

Oh sorry i didn't read all the text- it is always good to remember to give credit to others and about the symbol- In the Rots Secura's At-Ot clearly have that symbol- i checked from the movie- and in the Rots there is still seen some Venators above Coruscant without that symbol- very confusing...

Quoting swash buckler i like the idea of "hands" as "clones"
Any and all credit for that goes to Thomas Lockwood.
