These photos use pictures of my best version of the Tank, which I will have added shortly after this.
I've noticed that the most popular Indiana Jones creation to build is the tank, and I'm certainly no exception. But now that I have perfected my model, I'd like to share some secrets.
About this creation
Here's how I made the frame. The tank was constructed with a central base of 6 studs wide, normal construction, with two S.N.O.T. construction on the sides. Now, the angling of the tank is made of roof pieces and hinges, and they house an array of wheels that move the treads.
Side Profile. Here you've got a good look at the angling of the tank, thanks to the wing plates I dug out of my room. I actually drew a sketch of what this was going to look like, and I'm proud to say that math works!
The turret and front side. S.N.O.T. construction was used on the turret to get the rounded look. The bottom half of this creation's angling was made possible due to hinges.
The sides were built with S.N.O.T. construction for a very obvious purpose: THE SIDE CANNON! Building it this way made it able to be built with hinges, which let the cannons move.
So I hope this inspires you Indy builders out there, and if you wanted help on yours I hope this served as a great help. Please rate and comment!
