2004 Ariel Atom

I like building in this scale... I know... I've said that about every scale, haha! Anyways... I bring you the fantastic Ariel Atom! One of the meanest road-legal cars in the world with a potent combination of speed, acceleration, and grip. Don't race one of these at a stoplight... you're guaranteed to lose!
About this creation
Front view. I made sure this was one of my most detailed cars ever, so pay close attention!

Side view. Something doesn't look right to me... Oh well, I'll never figure it out!

Side/rear view. I couldn't add the cross-beams on the sides, but I think I still got the overall "cage" look correct.

Interior. Just the basics to save weight. It's all you need to go racing.

The Ariel Atom is only powered by a small Honda Civic R engine, but the car ways only 1,000 pounds, therefore you get one very very fast car!

Its brilliant you really caught the design if it was on a realistic backround I would not be able to tell if it was real or lego.

You see that lime green spike brick? I've been wondering about a good use for it and the Atom's nose seems to be one of those uses.

you have nailed it! i have seen the topgear where it was and i couldn't stop laughing at Jeremy's face xD i so love topgear that when i hear "Jeremy" i think "...Clarkson" :-D your Ariel Atom is beyond amazing! great job! P.S. the way it owned the cbr... also awesome :-D

Absolut excellent job on this MOC. Congratulations!!! (The Atom has more horsepower-to-weight than a Ferrari Enzo, and will do 0-60mph in less than 3 sec!)

Great! Even without cross members on the doors, still very good. It looks to scale with your horrible Fiat Panda Taxi,and your Custom Dodge Charger(even if those are in the large scale area). O.o

Very cool Atom! You captured the overall look of the car very well. You did a great job adding all the details like the lights, mirrors, engine, etc. I am very curious to know what that green piece on the hood is. This is a great little car. Keep building cool cars, Dylan! Great work! -Tony

this has to be your most realistic car to date, dylan! I love everything, I don't have any objections, only what scale is this in, is it supposed to be to-scale with the 10-wide RC drifter? anyways great MOC, I especially love the ingenious parts usage on the "hood", and the side is superb. great work denton :)

Beautiful! Until now, all of the Atoms on this site were 4-wides. It's nice to finally see it in a larger scale, which is something it desperately needed. Awesome work!
