The Armenian Ar-59 (NATO reporting name Blowtorch) is the Result of the PAK DA 2 project.

About this creation

The Armenian Ar-59 is a supersonic intercontinental strategic bomber jointly developed by Boeing, Tupolov, Sukhoi, and Mikion. It is a blended wing design. Due to the Armenia�s and the east�s lack of experience with flying wings and blended wing designs they called on Boeing to help develop the air frame. It�s two Kuznetsov NK-331 give it the ability to super cruise. Developed from the Russian Su-34 and the American X-48 it combines Eastern and Western design. Due to it�s construction and design it has a very small stealth profile. Its acoustic signature is reduced due to advances in engine technology. The engines are mounted on top of the fuselage so the thermal image is drastically reduced. It also has 2D thrust vectoring making it very maneuverable for a large bomber.

The Ar-59 entered service in early July 2035. Having entered service to late to see service in Iran it has yet to see combat. It has been used in reconnaissance roles over Turkmenistan and the black sea.

The Ukranian Air Force has come to the conclusion that they will need to fill the bomber gap and the Tupolev bomber is scheduled to be too late. Would it be possible that the UAF could buy five AR-59s from Armenia? Jack Ford

Or maybe I just missed 'em... Beautiful job. As for those pesky Iranian insurgents, they can run, but now, they can't hide.

The bomb bays are shown in the fourth picture from the top.

WOW!! That looks awesome. I think the engines could be a bit bigger, but flying wings often look underpowered when they really aren't. Very impressive design. Keep building!!! Jack Ford.

Wow, sounds like you know a lot about the stealth aircraft! I love to read about that and own several books on the subject. Good storyline, sleak build (even if it is LDD), and impressive style! 5/5!
