Despite the poor economy the Micropolis Autoshow forges ahead with some new models.
About this creation

Here's the Konichiwa Motors display. They are showing off the new 2009 SPIDER, the most powerful production car on the road today. Three models to choose from as well as the Police Interceptor Version. It comes in 7 shades of black including Onyx, Ebony, Ink, Jet, Coal, Pitch and plain Black. In a humorous display the lovely show girls are dressed as Policewomen this year. I think real Policewomen would wear pants. Watch you don't get arrested, though I wouldn't mind serving some hard time with those lovely ladies.

The Konichiwa Motors SPIDER. It's agressive body styling and stunning grill have won the company many awards from the people who give out those awards. Seventeen layers of clear coat give this car a surface you can see your soul in.

From Firas Motorwerks comes the 2009 FLAME. The newest addition to the Firas Sportscar line. Picked by MotorTrends Magazine for the Car of the Year 2009. Be sure to stop by and pick up your free FLAME keychain while supplies last. Kids and Dads love 'em.

The Firas Motorwerks FLAME. You can get it in any color you want as long as it's red. Notice the attention to detail, a feature the company is known for.

On the left we see Ocean Motors, with their new PISCES line. Currently experimental, this alternate fuel car runs on fish biomass fuel. Appearently the worlds sea food resturants throw out enough fish left overs to power thousands of cars millions of miles each year. Who knew. Potential customers are mixed on the sea food smell from the exhaust.
On the right we see the latest models from Palladin Electric Car. Their new electic cars are the talk of the show.

A PISCES in blue. The newly developed painting system creates the illusion of scales on the body. The glittering iridescencent surface is stunning and sparkles in the sun like a million jewels.

The Commercial Vehicles display. Check out the many vendors who sell body modifications to the service trades. See the full size Tow Truck done in LEGO bricks by LEGO Professional Sean Kenney. Please don't sit in it.

From the Dinosaur Motor Company comes the 2009 BELCHFIRE RUNABOUT. From 2 seater compacts to 6 seater sedans the BELCHFIRE RUNABOUT is the car for the man with the love of the gas pump.

Much more funny than the "new" GM cars ! My only complaint: why not zooming on the chicks wearing policewomen uniforms ? Just kidding, it's another very original and hilarious MOC, the kind of MOC you can only find here :)

Oh, forgot to mention how much I laughed at the "any color" part. My mom, being a lover of distinguished taste, humor and black, often says "you can have it in any color, as long as it's not black (she's the only one who's allowed to wear black)

I didn't know about your organization. It's just a fun coincidence. Funny. You know that joke about the red color cars is from the Model-T days. Ford used to say you can get one in any color as long as it was black. I like to re-cycle jokes. thanks for the nice comments guys. garth |

You know I didn't laugh that hard since really a long time, LOL! This is so hilarious, I specially loved the "You can get it in any color you want as long as it's red" part... And I'm really glad that you know about our FLAMIES organization, we're so famous, people! ;P By the way it's FLAMY not FLAME, but don't worry, I forgive you ;) Really nice work Garth, the build in this MOC is nothing but amazing, nice work on the display specially the web on the corner, just wonderful... Keep it FLAMY ;) |
