OK guys, here it is! It took me a long time to get it done, and I'm very pleased with the result. So have a look ;) Look in Full-Screen and HQ ;)
I know that the size of the ships is not quite adequate, but accept it if you don't want to see pixels fly across the screen ;)
I know there is quite a lot to improve, I'm at the very beginning of film editing, but I really enjoy it, so there will probably come more of this in the future. If you have any advice, please let me know.

watch your video on youtube, there is a box with the description of your video in a box on the right. there are also two lines, one called URL, the other "Embed". Just copy the html code that appears next to 'embed' to your page ;)

well...as I said before, I rather focused on how to make an animation than on how to tell a story ;) just say the fighter pilot came out of hyperspace by accident, saw that she wouldn't stand a chance against the ship and decided to die a honorable death rather than being shot from behind, cowardly trying to escape the unavoidable... ;)

I still don't like them, I think there should be a better way to make them...but to put it simply, I made a new layer with just the lights and added an effect...called starglow I guess...then I added an ambient light, and arranged the light intensity of both according to the time-frames, so that it gives that pulsing effect ;)

hehe...yeah...I need to improve on the story next time...this was rather a test and I wanted to include a big explosion, I couldn't let the fighter escape, that would have been boring...right :P

yeah...in theory...but I don't have any COP or UNE ships...so making a battle would be quite difficult unless someone sends me a bunch of images from various angles ;)
