Here it is. The Australian muscle car classic in all its racing glory.

About this creation

This creation was inspired by the car below, which is one of the cars that tore up Mt. Panorama back in 1971-1972. Like its on road counterpart it is fitted with a Cleveland 351 cubic-inch V8 engine.

by 1972, the spoilers were removed and the standard 'five slotter' steel rims were replaced with the homolgated globe 'bathurst' alloys, which unfortunately my one doesnt have!!

By 1973 only a few Phase IIIs (Allan Moffat's and Murray Carter's being two of them) were left in competetion, and were heavily modified from the original debut.

I recently went to purchase an model falcon, but unfortunately life got in the way, was the competetion your speaking of by any chance the Unique Cars giveaway. Also, luckily GT prices are heading downwards, $400-430k is the rough price a genuine gtho fetches these days

Your not the only Australian car nut. I also know my aussie muscle, and no HQ GTS will beat a Hoey, especially at bathurst. even though the HQ is one of holdens best ever cars apart from the HK and HG.
