This is my biggest project so far!
I enjoyed a lot doing it and it all began with me and some plates 1x2 trying to make a circle out of it.
I liked the effect and moved on to micro-scale.
I think the effect was quite good and resembles a lot, those kind of space stations we see on films.

I love that docking bay! I've enjoyed micro-scale for years, but this is outstanding! I only ever once made a micro space station, but it doesn't even come close to coming close to yours!

Oh I see thanks. I thought that might of been what you did, but I was rather doubtful that you could get such a nice bend by it. Although after trying it myself with a few plates I can see that it indeed works. I'll have to keep it in mind next time I'm building something. |

It's quite easy ;) I just stacked 3 layers of 100 white plates, 100 dark bluish gray plates, and a 100 white tiles.
Then I just had to bend that in order to get the shape. It's easier when you use more pieces in the ring.
