For BrickWorld 2009 I completed Victorian III, so that it was a full house rather than just a facade, and furnished the interior as well. Then I added a house next door, Victorian V.

I dont have words for the workmanship of this house! You should make more of these and sell them. You could make a ton of money! AMAZING!!!!!
How many bedrooms, baths, kitchens, living rooms and amount of rooms do you have? |

I wish in the rating system there was a category higher then EXCELLENT if there was it would be what I'd rate you.
Your architectural skills are 100% right on!
Your use of the whole LEGO range is out of this world!
Your color sence and decorating sence are also flying out of the ballpark!
I could not by pass this one!
You have made a fan of me1
I understand both the time and the expence of this structure!
You are LEGO Loyal beyond!
Bravo1

You are very kind, Lori. I live in Madison, Wisconsin. I mostly buy my LEGO on www.bricklink.com where you can get both bulk and the rarer parts and colors. I am inspired mostly by photos I find on the internet. My personal web site is at www.softarae.com

I have been surrounded by boys who like Star Wars Lego until this year when my oldest son completed all 5 buildings from the Market Street set. I fell in love with the details of those buildings, and thought how great it would be if Lego would create a Victorian house. I considered trying to make one myself, but I am fairly new to actually building the sets. I took a chance and googled "Lego Victorian House" and your amazing creation came up. You are the master and I want to be your student! Or at least your customer! Where can I see your amazing Victorians in person? Where/how did you design them, and where do people buy that many Lego in buik? You've inspired me! Thanks for bringing beauty and wonder to the world in unexpected places.

In fact, just how big is this?
Each of the two buildings is built on 2 extra-large, 15-inch-square baseplates. The taller, sand-blue building is 32" tall.

Is it a Belville scale? It's pretty close, but only accidentally so. I used the Belville tub, sinks, and some cabinets and they fit pretty well. Everything else was built from scratch. My scale was determined by the windows. I built them so that the framing was one plate thick and without gaps and everything else was built to match.

Haven't seen a true masterpiece for a little bit, but this one definitely is just that. There's really no difference in quality from this and the stuff you find done by the "professionals" at the Legoland parks. And all those 1x1 funky pieces... Subtract the front yard (it gives it away) and I think there would be less people who recognize this as being made of LEGOs then there would be people who do. |
