Fighter/Recon design - FR-VI - Peregrine -- The original design was loosely based on the Douglas Skylancer. Okay, slight change of plans... (as is often the case) this design has progressed into something much, much closer to the Vought F7U - Cutlass. The original idea was for a fleet based intercepter - but with so many cool weapon options it looked like this was going to be a strike fighter like the Firebrand. Thankfully the desire for a smaller strike craft was forming - see the Shrike.
