This is the quantum speedster. It looks like a regular hot rod, but it's not. The V-8 is mounted over the rear axle and it has all wheel drive. It also has a 4 speed gearbox and full independent suspension. The all wheel drive system has no center diff because the chassis is too small, instead I put a clutch gear on the front and rear differentials to allow the axle to just slip. I decided to make the most unique hot rod I could think of. This is the only rear engine AWD hot rod on MOCpages. The car also has my favorite interior out of any car I have made.

awesome but do always need a a center diff for a 4WD system?
yes. unless the vehicle has 4 wheel steering. when a 4WD vehicle goes around a turn, the front and rear wheels follow slightly different paths creating a need for a center differential. in a vehicle with 4 wheel steering, the front and rear wheels follow the same path so no center diff is needed.
I like it

You are ridiculously prolific. It's amazing how you can get such quantity without sacrificing quality.

Very interesting! I specially impressed by the quality of the interior in this one... of course the whole MOC is amazing too, even the bottom is nicely done... keep it up.
Thanks. this rod was going to be a remake of The desert ranger set 8408 from 1996. I had the chassis built, but then I wanted to build a hot rod. I kept the rear engine layout, stretched the chassis and added AWD and here it is.
