About this creation
Since I didn't want to pay $110 for the Republic Gunship set or $20 for Commander Cody off of Ebay, I made my own. I painted the visor orange and I colored his body orange with sharpie.
Here's his front view. I used a standard LEGO rifle for his weapon because I couldn't find anything better. I added a visor I painted orange to give him that "Commander Cody" look. I painted the kneepads on and the stripes on his legs.
For those of you who are asking where is the jetpack, well his Phase I armor didn't include a jetpack.
The side view. You can see the orange armor that I put on his shoulder. You can also see that cool visor.
There's the visor. I think that the paint turned out quite well on the visor.

This is great! Thx for the review on my commandos, first one I got (on all my creations) so far! By the way, that orange visor is like the one I made for my commando, except I made that before I saw this. Good job again! Edit: I changed the pics on my commandos, they are clearer now, check them out. |

The detailing is great, but I always feel that sharpie jobs always end up looking a good deal worse than those who use paint. I've never tried painting my clones so I don't know how hard it is, but for using a sharpie I'd say you did a good job. |

Very good work on this. One of the best I've seen on the pages. You did a very nice job on painting the visor, when people do that they usually put to much paint and it looks to bulky, but you did well on it. I like the paint job on it too. |
