Again, another little 'joke' MOC between serious builds.
This is what happens the day before your exam week and you're frantically trying to find something - anything - to take your mind off of studying...
Anyway, just as some stupid little joke; here's a technic Pete Townshend minifig. Doesn't quite look like him (you're pretty limited with technic dudes anyway), but you can see the signature 'slide' pose or whatever it's called ; the flame-spouting things in the background were just a little addition to help give that rock atmosphere... I really couldn't be bothered to start building the rest of the stage for such a "quick" MOC , and to be honest, I'd better not waste my time on lego right now... I should get back to studying (groan....)
4 hours worth of philosophy exams tomorrow, I might *literally* die of boredom...
Anyway, enjoy this 5-minute-MOC !
P.S. If you are looking to buy lego for your creations, I would like to recommend the following Bricklink lego shop ; "About Town, Castle & Train" ( http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=stacey_love )
I personally know the shopholders, and they are very nice, devoted people. They are currently sponsoring 100% of my 1/3 Lamborghini project, providing all of the parts; and have made various other donations to other models I have made.
The store has a wide selection of parts (over 600,000!), at good prices, and offer an exceptional, fast service (no tax or dodgy exchange rates, next day postage, etc). you won't be disappointed !
It's good to see some cool funny MOCs between your BIG creations you post usually, this is really cool, like it. BTW thanks for the comment on my latest, and about my project; NO, it isn't that big, and it even isn't a CAR ;) you know, a 1/3 scale car is some kind of impossible for a builder who can't order pieces online, I'm very limited with the bricks that I only get from official sets... any way good work on your project >>> peace.. Firas
haha I wish I was =)
not quite sure I've attained that status yet, but I do what I can with what lego I have...
Just to say, I've just started something big (not quite as big as my lambo though) , and it'll be coming during the summer holidays...
Quoting Crimso Giger
haha excellent petit hommage à ce fabuleux gratteux ! T'arrive à ecouter les Who en révisant ?! Great job :D
"Down at the Astoria the scene was changing,
Bingo and rock were pushing out X-rating,
We were the first band to vomit in the bar,
And find the distance to the stage too far,
Meanwhile it's getting late at ten o'clock,
Rock is dead they say,
Long live rock."
- written by Pete Townshend and performed by The Who.
I love this! The Who is one of my all-time favorite bands. Now I'm off to grab the ipod and jam!
