The Race For Ambassador - Yuri's Fun Time
A series of Smack-MOC's on the Lego ambassadorial nominees (...and yes, I plan to even do one on myself!)
About this creation
I've done some digging on my fellow nominees for Lego Ambassador. You wouldn't believe the dirt I've uncovered...Seems Bionicle isn't Fassio's only hobby!

I quite agree with the guy below, there are no Lego stores at all in Tennessee, the nearest one is in Birmingham, Alabama. As for the MOC, sounds like you need to get some castle outta you. ;-) ~LL

I was talking with Erik Ackroyd and we came to talk about this. One thing we should mention to the LEGO ambassadors, is that LEGO should incoporate Pick-a-Brick in toystores like Toys-R-Us, or make individual stores as to where it would allow FOL to better acquire individual pieces instead of going thru third-party sites. There aren't enough P-A-B stores around the country and for reasons stated above, it's tough getting the pieces we need. For example, In Florida, in the entire State, there is only 1 Pick-A-Brick Lego store in Orlando FL. I live in South Florida and go to Orlando for Universal Studios, Disney, etc. etc. Rarely. I always make sure my parents stop by Downtown Disney to make sure I get some pieces. Obviously, I would normally go to my local TRU store, but there is no P-A-B setup there. My parents aren't going to drive 4 hours to Orlando and 4 hours back every time I want to go to buy LEGO at a P-A-B store. It just doesn't work out. I hope the LEGO Ambassadors will do something about this if their "power" allows them too. Also, There aren't ANY Pick-A-Brick stores in some states. Don't believe me? http://stores.lego.com/en-us/default.aspx Click on the United States tab and see for yourself. I hope that Erik and I can raise awareness about this issue. I hope that the nominees will see this. Spread the word. Erik and I want to raise awareness and alert this issue to the nominees. Thanks a bunch, Alex and Erik.

I was sifting through the ìpages and found a shocking truth: nobody here ever built a Gun Star (from Starfighter)! Outrageous, don't you think? Well, anyway, I've found a thing you should like, here http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/8276 it's a technic-fig scale fighter.

First, let me get this out of the way: The sewing machine, the "kimono", the pit and of course that LAMP! This has so many awesome details in it Mark. I'm in love with that little lamp. And now for this message...I'm waiting to see what aweful scandel you've dredged up out of my past. Not that there ARE any. *shifty eyes* ONE WEEK!!! I'll see you guys in person in ONE WEEK! I'm so excited and can barely contain myself here. :)

Quoting Yuri Fassio Wasn't that from a movie? Silence of the lambs, maybe? lol Anyway thanks, seen how your stuff gets top-rated it no time you give me a perfect advertising place. Here, people! http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/125826 Vote Yuri! Vote Yu-mmmph!- -Mbmmph!- -mmou can't silence me!- -Mmmph!- (I wish I could return the favor, but unless you want to be represented by a space pilot or a redhead nurse... my fig supply is just too limited)
Welcome to the club, Yuri! I couldn't have Phipson getting all the attention, could I? Unlike most political campaigns, this potential nominee doesn't mind giving his competition a little free press. And now...*rubs hands with a shifty smile*...it's time to see what Heather's been up to!
