UAV contest entry
I'm going to be a bit busy in the next few weeks, possibly months, so I'm posting this here, now, hopefully before the deadline.
About this creation
Unlike some of the other entries, it's small enough to fit in a fig's hand, meaning it's sure to fit within the size restrictions.

Anyway, as the intro sayz, I'm going to be busy.
I didn't have enough space to say why, so I'll do it here: alright, backstory: my birthday occured something like thirteen days ago, and as standard for this household, the birthday-boy picked the gifts, so as to make the process easier. I selected a game from an online auction site.

It came the day before yesserday.

Know what it was?

Citytech.
Copyright FASA.

Manufactured twenty four years ago in america, making it older than me.
It's in fine shape.

Well, scratch that, it WAS, as part of the play process involves popping cardboard building counters and unit counters off of a cardboard frame.

First game?
Three players, one infantry unit and a Patton tank each, level one tech and one light mech of 35 tons or under each.
Bro number one had a Wolfhound, Bro number two had an Urbanmech (we were in a city) and Bro number three (me) had a Jenner, JR-7D, I think.

Took hours.

Oh, and I swapped to a Warhammer after that. Haven't looked back yet.
Nice and powerful, lotsa weapons, slightly shoddy armour but swapping the Small Lasers (1 heat, 3 damage, 1shortrange, 2medrange, 3lngrange, I regret nothing) for an extra ton of armour (16 points) to scatter over the torso makes it a fair bit more durable.

I could trade the machineguns and their ammo for another 1.5 tons of armour, but it wouldn't be a Warhammer then.

Anyhow, Jessie Nelms is hosting that contest and if you want to participate, I suggest you get into gear because I'm not sure when the deadline is but it can't be far.

This is one of the best Lego UAVs I've ever seen! Brilliant work! Ben Sandfelder, I collect WH40k.

Quoting Ben Sandfelder It takes skill to make a plane that small look good...On the topic of Warhammer, do you play 40k as well?
No, the Warhammer I refer to is a 70 ton heavy mech, one of the Battletech 'Unseen'. Designed for a mission role layed down as 'destroy or severely damage any 'mech of equivilant tonnage or under'. Haven't heard many good things about 40k, though; fine mini's, but supposedly hugely expensive.
