The Burrow, house of the Weasley family and Harry Potter's second home after Hogwarts.
About this creation
I wanted something to do between my Hogwarts project that didn't used any of my tan pieces. That's a hard one, because I really like to use tan pieces in my buildings. To stay in the Harry Potter universum I thought I'd give The Burrow a try, the home of the Weasleys (and Harry's second real home after Hogwarts). I have worked on it yesterday and this morning I added the details and greenery. This afternoon I took the pictures and I've just finished the editting of the background. It was fun to make, I think the result is good. I hope it's recognazible to the Harry Potter fans!

Bloody brilliant! This is the ultimate Burrow. I love the LEGO groups, but this is so much cooler. Is there an exterior? |

I really like this. The outside is fascinating and extremely well-built, though I would've liked to see a little more lopsidedness than that. If possible please post more pictures of the interior! |

nice, although it's a little too straight and looks kinda like a farmhouse. (sorry, don't mind me, I'm a really severe critic). what face does Ginny have? |

Excellent!! In the movie, it's a tad more crooked than this, though. But I just love how it looks!! Who's the girl with harry, Ron, and Hermione? Is it Ginny, or Mrs. Weasley...?
Thanks. I was going to use complicated window techniques to make it look more crooked; but to make it less part intensive and more LEGO-ish I used normal LEGO windows.
And that's Ginny. Molly stands with Arthur in the front. |

It's amazing! I tried to make the burrow once so I know it's hard, but you made it just like in the movie (or maybe even better :P) |

great to see more from the HP book's, it has the feeling of a building that's grown over time. it's a bit rickety in places which add's to the charm. excellent work. |

I thought I had commented on this. Must have taken a quick look and moved on. Too many nice things on MOCpages of late. I do like the series of books and this captures the electic build that I think The Burrow would be. Since it's so sparsely described in the books it's pretty much open what it looks like. Great job and good luck with the Hogwart's Castle. see ya. garth |

Yay!!! I'm so glad to find more Harry Potter fans. Your Burrow looks great, I love how the upper levels have a different color and texture than the main house, can't wait to see how you furnish the interior! |

Nice work. I love those few angular tile pieces. They help to give their house a bit of a disheveled look. I'd love to give the burrow a try some day, and maybe do it with some interior work as well. Meanwhile, this will certainly satisfy for the time being...well done! |
