Vought F4U Corsair
A Chance Vought F4U-4 Corsair, stationed in the South Pacific during WWII. Inspired by a moc by Pmiaki. Specifications Length: 33'8" Height: 14'9" Wingspan: 41" Ceiling: 41,500' Armament: six .50 caliber machine guns, wing-mounted. In builing this I tried to keep to the ratio of one lego brick equaling one foot with a little give and take. This moc measures 29 bricks long with a wing span of 40 bricks with a height of 13 bricks.

MMM...Corsairs are sweet aircraft! Nice work on this one. You've captured the famous (or should I say infamous) 'bent wing' quite well. As an interesting side note, I have a friend who flew Corsairs for the Navy in WWII. The 'bent wing' design actually makes them incredibly difficult to control at slow speeds. At stall, the port wing will drop very quickly and you have to catch it before you enter a spin. And adding power isn't necessarily the answer. If the throttle is slammed to the firewall, the torque from the huge prop can easily flip a Corsair on it's back. Props to those who flew them. The days when men were men. :-) Nice work!

That is fabulous! Only thing that may be improved is the guns could be a bit thinner. Otherwise it's great! 5/5 Keep it up!
