The famous mech from the Metal Gear Solid series. Having never played the game, I can't give much background on it, but it looked impressive and I love complicated builds. I've seen other versions, and many may be less complex or larger than mine, but I thought I'd try.
About this creation
A shot of the head. I'm not sure if the "eyes" are headlights or weapons systems, but I tried to be accurate. I used the trophy from Super Smash Bros. Brawl as a reference, so whine to Nintendo if my model is off.
REX with his jaw open and Liquid Snake peering from inside:
Here you can see Liquid again, as well as the small cannon on REX's underside:
A side shot of the head. The main weapons of this mighty mech are also visible. The rail gun, on the left, and the sattleite dish on the right. I wish it could be entirely dark gray and a bit larger, but you have to work with what you have, right?:
REX's legs. I constructed them so that they could slide, and the back support leg could extend when standing, but the creation was so heavy it pushed the legs back down again. However, I'm proud to say that when descending back to crouch position, it did NOT fall over:
The back of REX:
Again... :
A final shot:
In some images the rail gun may be less smooth. Thanks to a very helpful comment from Rags naRock, I saw fit to adapt the gun (though unfortunately I had run out of dark gray and was forced to use black).

Quoting Moodswim .
This is awesome! I like how the cockpit opens up. I agree with Mike, some tiles on the studs would look good.

Great representation. I have never played the game, but I've seen a lot of these around. The only suggestion I have is to maybe cover up some of the studs around the cockpit and the top. 5/5 +--c('.'c) |

Very nice creation you have here. And to reply to your question about my Future car: The car charges when not in use, If the hood was up while someone drove they couldn't see =D
Hope this answered your question and keep up the good work |

You managed to put in a lot of good angles and details that keep this from being blocky, and it's great that the cockpit opens. My only complaint would be the railgun, since just using plates makes it look unfinished, but it's still a good size and has pretty good functionality. |
