I pulled out my M-tron theme pieces and made a little transport jet. It stays true to M-Tron methods, with a magnet winch for pulling cargo boxes.
About this creation
The wings and landing gear share a hinge. when the wings are hinged up, it brings the landing gear into position. The control panel and canopy also share the same hinge. when the canopy is opened, the controls hinge up with it. Note the winch in the front, just under the sensor dome.
The winch can be spun from the front, but the string is guided to the back through a piece with a hole through it. when the box is pulled all the way in, it is held between the engines.
Cockpit detail. The painted tiles are original M-tron.
Do not worry, my Commander :D You have similliar talents as well. I know both your and JWGs work very well. Only difference is that JWGs passion is very wild experimenting with trunk shapes and he uses much smaller parts and less big block bricks than you do. Your advantage is, that your IP 2002 creations have very similiar style to original sets (which i think was one of your goal), while he is much experiment-based builder. None of this says which one is better, you both just differ from eac other :D
5/5 :D I think you should make more M:tron creations like this. You are very well talented overall , but atypical and sleek trunk designs are your strongest abiltity. More importantly, there is very few people adding so much of original ideas in spaceships. Keep on building :D
