The Arrival of the Invisible Man
The stranger came early in February, one wintery day, through a biting wind and a driving snow, the last snowfall of the year, over and down, as it seemed from Bramblehurst Railway Station, and carrying a little black portmanteau in his thickly gloved hand. He was wrapped up from head to foot, and the brim of his soft felt hat hid every inch of his face but the shiny tip of his nose; the snow had piled itself against his shoulders and chest, and added a white crest to the burden he carried. -H.G. Wells, The Invisible Man

You're amazing. I have been struggling to figure out how to create the Invisible man for my monster studios. It seems so simple now I have seen it done. Often the most simple ideas are the hardest to come by. I really really like this. It has a wonderful eerie and sorrowful atmosphere. I can feel the inner torment of this solemn figure as he begins a journey that will lead only to tragedy...

Ahhh, that is a good idea. I have a clear "head" piece that would work for that.

Quoting Mister Bones Love this. How did you do the head?
Just a brain head backwards with a white bandana. A rather unelegant solution that creates a very good effect.

Quoting Mike Bernd A very enjoyable creation to look at. I never read the book, all I know about the invisible man is from the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen comics by Alan Moore.
Thanks. I've never read the Alan Moore, they seem very strange and more than a little...adult, no offence.

Quoting Tim Cliffe Wow, that is really nice. What are those things on the trees, though? Icicles?
Yeah, from Yeti's Hideout.
