The Blacktron Bumblenator has a simple purpose: to pick up cargo pods, haul ass and blast anything that gets in the way. Everything from troops to cargo to VIPs can be transported quickly to and fro. The Bumblenator doesn't even have to land, in combat situations the cargo pod can be dropped mid-air and its booster rockets automatically land safely(many times on top of enemies).
I've used this cockpit again, this time it's a much cleaner design but lacks some of the detail that was on the Locust's cockpit.
Not much in the way of controls fit in there with the pilot so I'll just say it's all HUD and gesture controlled.
Just a typical loading of a top secret weapon and heavy troops. The pointy headed guy is a Blacktron Berserkor, it's best to not get in his way.
The cargo pod is in position and ready to go.
Once dropped, the Berserkor is naturally the first out. Poor Space Police.
Bumblenator pilots have to contend with a huge shift in weight once the cargo pod is dropped. With the nose pointed down though, the laser cannon is in perfect firing position.
I didn't think it was minifig scale when I first saw it, but now that I see that it is, that is amazing! (It was even if it wasn't that scale) I like the weapons with the red cones too, I had never thought to use that piece like that.
