CMC Entry: Test Mecha 01 "Paladin"
An unmanned space racing mech, it's designs are based on true speed and evasive force. Based on Phong's Specineff.
About this creation
An entry for the CMC Contest area: Unmanned/Space/Racing (a lot of it, huh?), this mech used Izzo's L-Frame Design Nº2 (well...not all; being honest) for the construction. Name is because of the style, which resembles between a paladin and a knight.

EDIT: W000000000000000000T! THIS MECH GOT AS ONE OF THE QUALIFIERS FOR THE CMC FINAL ROUNDS!!!!!! W0000000000T!

EDIT 7/11/2009: HOLY C--P! I'm one of the winners of the CMC (Land/Space Idk...) at Moc Pages! w000000000000T!!!

Now here's a small bio (of mine) for a simple intro:

It's year 2135, and technology evolved, so did the variety of machines. Many people began to get bored of the lastly attention of Car Racings, which led to a low popularity grade. Rather than letting that racings extiguish, which would cause a total failure at championships, many business corporatives began to make their own racing machines which, rather the purpose of fighting or for war; were used for racing. Using instead of a race track, a space track. This is how, by the Engine Robotics Corporative®, Paladin S-Racing Mech was born. Using a new design of Kinetic Energy Engine, it can go where anyone hasn't reached!

Now the Pics:

Heck not you're criticizing the lack of background...Hold your seatbelts (and good)!

What are you looking at punk?!

I'll punch ya in your face! Oh wait, I have no weapons...

Ready to take off!

Are you ready to take off?

3...2...1...GO!

Ok...enough pose pics. Now, to the side pics:

Front Side.

Side Section.

Back Side, featuring Boosters and Exhausts.

A more clean, closer view on the Boosters. Time to go FAST!

Feet design, more alike to a knight mech.

REQUEST: For those curious MOC-Lookers, here are some pics detailing the frame (Only Arm and Leg; Same goes for both of them).

Agh! What happened to my parts!?

A better close-up for the (half) design of the frame.

Arm Frame.

Leg Frame.

And, at last, a final pic of my CMC Mech.

And a last pic, for my friends Phong and Dali:

MAYOR OWNAGE!

Quoting Moodswim . Wow! Very anime-style-super-deformed awesomeness! I really like the design of the feet and legs.
Basically, since I ran out for parts at the legs, I wanted to try other tricks for feet rather leaving it on dust. Although it's a bit "slippy" on fine surfaces, still it's a great mech of mine. Great you like it; I'm currently working on another remake.

his horn and shoulders would spell certain doom if an enemy was behind it! the feet remind me of GP-01. the thrusters don't really say "time to go fast" to me they say "um...stop pushing on my back please." Not to be mean, just humorous criticism!

Quoting Phong Chang WOOOT WIN!!! PS: I've seen that last pic before.
It's a pic describing that, even you still are "arguing" with your humor, I will totally own you! Lol! PS: You saw the one of the hovercat?

Quoting Jusiya Tsang Nice! Very sleek mech there. I think the head could use a little more detail other than a cheese plate and wedge, but that's just me. Please check out my gundam if u have time.
The head doesn't uses a cheesy plate
Quoting Cody G good use of orange. I'm surprised you were able to pull of such a large mech with that kind of posability with simple exo-force joints. nice job!
Thanks, it took me a lot of time while trying new combinations of parts that didn't affect the weight issue. And it stands 35 cms!
Quoting Rob Deavers That's a biggun,! I like the color choice and the overall design.
As you can see, this is a CMC mech; in other words, it does not carry any weapon.

Quoting Andreas Höttler Looks very fast, I like the basicly sleek design. I would recommand you to try a bit more small details for your mechs now. You know Phong style.
I'm not expertize with Micro style, since I don't have 1-Money and 2-Many Parts; I just work on what I have handy. Probably will buy a couple of Mars Mission's sets and perhaps adding another ExoForce set, but thanks for the advice. I'll see what can I do respect the PAB Orders, since I'm not familiarized with that.

Quoting LC Remember the sketch you send me earlier last week? Well, the right drawing was perfet to make mine. It just turns out that this mech is quite an "coincidential Accident" ( I made it outta nowhere!) and that's true fact my friend!
Well, I'm glad to be of help! it's nice to know that you found those drawings useful. Again though, great job here.

Quoting Toby Heinemann Nice job LC! I've always liked the 'high heel' styled feet on some mecha, so it's nice to see that on a racer. The colors go well together, too. The idea of having streamlined arm cowlings turned out very nicely, and your use of turbine parts was a great little detail. Great work!
