Lennaerts Star Wars inspiration
A few Star Wars inspired starships my son made.
About this creation

Posted may 12 2009

Well...the inevitable has happened. My son saw Star Wars. He's almost 5 years old now (next month) and he doesn't understand a word of what they're saying (we're Belgians). But he sences Darth Vader must be evil, Han solo is a silly man, Leia is a princess and Luke is a sad hero.

He made some spaceships, as he calls them, "from Star Wars". Let's say: inspired on Star Wars.

The yellow one is his favourite as he also plays with it and it is the sturdiest too.

Hmmm... I think the white+blue ship looks suspiciously like an X-Wing.

The yellow one is a nice design for a ship. Kudos to your kid and don't let him near the sharpies if you want him to become a builder.

I have to agree with Cody, if you dont follow his rules, there will be a LOT of clone battlepack buying. a LOT. And sharpies... and sharpies...

Star Wars should be every boys first non animated movie. Great to see he's following in daddy's footsteps. Now to get the little girl hooked. :)

Very nice! Your son has an obvious talent. Oh, and the first one is OBVIOUSLY the republic cruiser thing in mini. Well at least I think it is. Your son's lego looks like abstract art. Bravo!

Well, he got the character personalities down! He's very talented in Lego for a five year-old.

Quoting marshal commander Cal / Your son did amazing for his age! Have you recognized the ships yet?
I haven't got the foggiest! But when I ask him, he says: "Don't you see?? It's from Star Wars!!! Silly daddy..." So...

Very cool! Nice way to start them young. If you're so inclined as well as your son, I'm maintaining a website of my child's creations ( http://www.varietyalley.com/ ). He's not quite Star Wars crazy just yet, but I imagine he'll discover it shortly. He's into cars and racers at the moment. He's the builder named M-Riq in the site. Cheers!

Dude...It looks like you are breading the entire next genoration of AFOLs in one house! If he builds this well already, by the time he is 20, he will be building at the olymipc level! Attack!
