Tripod (2005 Movie War of the Worlds) please rate and comment
Straight out of the 2005 War of the Worlds movie, is the alien Tripod. This war machine features tentacles for capturing humans and cages to put them in. This creation took me about two days to build, plus I've re-done it several times. The legs were tricky to design, especially the three toes at the end of each leg. The head can look in any direction, and the legs have unlimited posability. Hope you enjoy it.
About this creation
My favortite song from the movie.

Video by my friend, Abe Kipnis. WATCH IT! Okay this is an update on why it appears that this video has been removed. Not even my friend that made this video knows why it happened.

"Ahhhh!!"

The tentacles are easily one of my favorite parts of the creation because they give the tripod an unearthly evil look, and I also love the little dagger like protrusions above them.

Just look at it. That's the same look that it gave you in the movie (or at least I think so).

I like how I uncluded the blood sprayers and prisoner cages on the back of the head

Quoting Commander Sharp Wow that is so awesome. I love its lasers BZZZZZ BZZZZZ and then the people turn into frickin ASH. And their clothes float away. Bananas bananas bananas bananas bananas BANANAS! When it fires its lasers, make it say: IMA FIRIN MA LAZER BLAAAAAH!!!
I actually didn't supply the camera, laptop or Boinx software used to make the video, just a lot of the ideas and legos. And, to my displeasure, my friend who helped me make it removed all lego related videos from his youtube channel.

Quoting Tomas Gershevitch WOW!!! this is realy good! how did you do those legs? please tell me.
I took those bendy lego tubes, like the ones used for the guardrails on Jabba's sail barge, and slid them into those hollow lego tubes with the ridges on them.

Quoting Mood Swim Wow this is cool! Why aren't there more comments? You should have builders lined up at your door looking to learn from you! Anyway, like all your MOCs, the design and use of parts is very impressive!
Thank you!

It actually might have been the same one, for it's featured in my friend, Abe kipnis's video, lego war of the worlds.

Quoting Pawel Kaminski (pkmovies92) Good, but I see the parts from my MOC :( I think You based him on my Tripod.
Yes, I actually used your idea for using hands as the spines on the back, and I did copy your cages, but otherwise, it was an original.
