Arcenciel
About this creation
In order to counter the Slon, Corusa Industries was quick to construct a unit capable of meeting and even surpassing the tank on the battlefield. Experimentation with promising refractive laser technology led to the creation of the Arcenciel mobile assault vehicle, supporting the Kerykeion Mark II on the frontlines of the battlefield.

The Arcenciel is technically a four-wheeled vehicle, but is typically referred to as a motorcycle by pilots due to the closeness of the wheels to the center of the body. As with most Corusa Industries military units, speed and firepower are prioritized over defense, making the Arcenciel an extremely fast unit designed for rapid penetration of enemy lines. As with all ATs, it mounts quad beam submachine guns on its front chassis capable of dealing with lightly-armored foes quickly. However, its real power lies in the spectrum cannon on its top. A high-performance laser cannon capable of boiling metal, the spectrum cannon uses a special refractive matrix to allow the beam to bounce off its initial target and strike others, allowing it to attack a large group of enemies all at once. This gives the Arcenciel its enormous power, but is also something of a weakness in the several-second charge time the cannon requires - like the Slon with its mega launcher, an Arcenciel must often rely on Kerykeions for protection when firing its spectrum cannon.

The Arcenciel owes its enormous agility to the twin high-intensity thrusters on its sides, capable of turning the unit 180 degrees with a single burst. A common tactic is for a pilot to allow an enemy to ride its tail while its spectrum cannon charges, then turn around and open fire on the unsuspecting target. This serves to compensate for the fact that, like the Slon, all of its weaponry is exclusively forward-mounted.

Over 200 Arcenciels were produced during the latter half of the war - afterwards, the remaining units would be retrofitted with Baryonic Drives, reducing their charge times as well as providing them with increased speed and power.
